"Having attended the adult learner short courses for some time, my then wife-to-be decided we should have our wedding dance choreographed. Our instructor Jodie understood our needs (and fears - no hip shaking for the chap) and determined our choice of music was better suited to a foxtrot. She started our lessons with some simple steps and gradually added more complicated moves as we became more comfortable with what we'd learned. So there never appeared to be a steep learning curve. The routine took into account the size of our dance floor, what we were wearing and even which direction we'd be facing when we finished. It took us a while to find the perfect song that was special to us and once we had found it, we presented it to our teacher who suggested the Foxtrot.
