Testimonials:

"Having attended the adult learner short courses for some time, my then wife-to-be decided we should have our wedding dance choreographed. Our instructor Jodie understood our needs (and fears - no hip shaking for the chap) and determined our choice of music was better suited to a foxtrot. She started our lessons with some simple steps and gradually added more complicated moves as we became more comfortable with what we'd learned. So there never appeared to be a steep learning curve. The routine took into account the size of our dance floor, what we were wearing and even which direction we'd be facing when we finished. Jodie and other members of staff were available for several lessons a week, if extra practise was desired. We enjoyed our tuition more than I expected and we can look back with both surprise and pride at how much we learned. If you're undecided about whether to try this, but don't want to just shuffle on the spot on your big day, I'd urge you to give it a go. The JFDC instructors understand everything you'll need to consider and are careful to give you something you can cope with but still add some pizzazz to your wedding dance".

"Thank you so much for putting together our routine for our first wedding dance. You made us feel comfortable and at ease from the first lesson through to the rehearsal prior to our wedding day. The way you worked with our abilities, which were very limited, and the patience you showed when things did not go well went a long way towards us getting it right on the day. Everyone was impressed with our new found skills, which was down to you adapting the routine to suit us so it worked and it did. Again, many thanks and once we have settled into married life and sorted out a few things we will be in touch with a view of returning to you and your team to enhance what we have learnt."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our experience at the JFDC when learning our first dance. It took us a while to find the perfect song that was special to us and once we had found it, we presented it to our teacher who suggested the Foxtrot. We had previously attended several of the 5 week courses which one of them had been on the basics of Foxtrot. Over the course of our lessons, our teacher had got to know us as a couple and all considerations were taken into account including my dress, what Martin was wearing and the size of the dance floor. Our teacher was highly experienced and every lesson was enjoyable! Our first dance reflected our personalities and on the day, was a huge success and is still a talking point, even now! We enjoyed the time we spent together in both the 5 week courses and our first dance lessons and have continued to enjoy dancing at the JFDC."

"Being complete novices at dance, myself and my wife decided to take a number of lessons prior to our wedding. We found all the team at the Jill Foster Dance Centre incredibly friendly and they made us feel very comfortable and at home, even with our dance skills! We thoroughly enjoyed our experience, so much so we have since become regular students of the school. We would recommend anyone looking to make their wedding dance that little bit extra special to book a course with the Jill Foster Dance Centre."
