GENERAL NEWS

MINI MOVERS AND SUPERSTAR PRESENTATION:  A cheque for £65.00 was presented to MK Snap charity to help them continue their wonderful work.  £65.00 was also paid into our "Mirror" fund.  Thank you to all those who attended this event and made the donation possible!

CHRISTMAS PRESENTATION PARTY:  Many congratulations go to the following pupils who received special awards in recognition of achievement: Gemma Danks, Sophie Tuson, Shannon Saunders, Francesca Goodinson, Graham Hadley, David and Sue Brace, Jenni Martin, Sophie Amey and Janet and Julian Bradley.

SHOES:  Good quality Ballroom and Latin American shoes at reasonable prices are available from "INTERNATIONAL DANCE SHOES LTD", FINGLE DRIVE, STINEBRIDGE, MILTON KEYNES, MK13 0AT (Monday-Friday)....ask your teacher for a brochure.  Don't forget to buy your JAZZ SHOES now ready for the exam session (advice can be sought from any member of the teaching staff).  Jazz shoes are available through the school at competitive prices: £15.50 from baby sizes through to size 5 and £18.50 size 6 upwards (please see your teacher to order).

JUNIOR NEWS

FAME FACTORY:  The next Fame Factory workshop sessions commence on SATURDAY 18TH FEBRUARY.  The half term project is to be "LOCAL YOKELS!!" and will involveplenty of musical fun!  All 6-14 year olds interested in Musical Theatre are welcome to come along 10.00-11.30am, THE THEATRE, WOUGHTON CENTRE, MK6 5EJ for a free trial lesson.

FUN BALLROOM AND LATIN AMERICAN COMPETITION:  The JFDC is organising a fun competition day with another dance school from Luton.  This will give dancers of all ages the opportunity for those who learn Ballroom and Latin American to have a go.  The event is to be held on SUNDAY 4TH MARCH at MK SNAP and further details will be mailed out once the programme of events has been finalised.
