Showcase update

Dear JFDC Dancer

After much consideration we have made the difficult decision to postpone our JFDC 40th Anniversary showcase. Our new and Final date (COVID measures permitting) will be Saturday 12th March, with rehearsals in the late afternoon/evening of Saturday 26th Feb and 5th March.

We have not made this decision lightly, but with two staff on Maternity leave, a further two moving on over the course of lockdown and some of our schools only returning this half term, we feel like we would not be able to create the show and experience that our dancers deserve.

We can promise that our March Showcase will be a fantastic event and not only a celebration of 40, 41, 42 years of the JFDC, but the perseverance of the school and dancers over the past two years.

If you were signed up for the original showcase your position in the cast is safe and any tickets will be honoured. By March we should also be able to open up more spaces for our newer dancers or those who could not make the original dates.

Again thank you all for your support over the past few years and beyond.

Kind regards

Jill & Team
