Dance for Children

The JFDC is proud to offer a wide variety of dance sessions for children and teens ages 3-20 years throughout Milton Keynes. all abilities are welcome and all teachers hold appropriate IDTA teaching qualifications and DBS certification.

Junior classes are held at the following venues:

Mini Movers (3-6 Years)

A fantastic introduction to a wide variety of dance styles for children. A fun but structured class which teaches the fundamentals of dance following the IDTA Rosette syllabus.

£4.50 weekly/£24.00 per half term

Super Movers (3-10 Years)

A combination of our Mini Movers and Superstars sessions, where our rosette and Star Dance dancers work alongside each other following the IDTA Rosette & Star Dance Syllabus. These sessions are ideal for siblings or friends of different ages who wish to work together.

£6.00 weekly/£34.00 per half term.

develop the finer points of a wide variety of dance styles in a fun and structured dance class, which follows the IDTA Star Dance Syllabus.

Learn the fundamentals, technique and style of all your favourites from Strictly and beyond!

Our Ballroom sessions have groups that cater for dancers who are new to Ballroom, for those who have a little experience and those who are already competent dancers. These classes give dancers the opportunity to take part in IDTA Dance Awards.

Musical Theatre (7+ Years)

Musical Theatre Dance classes for childr

If you love all aspects of performing this class is ideal. Learn short pieces from your favourite Musical films and shows (recent Musical pieces include excerpts from, The Greatest Showman, Oliver, Dreamgirls, 9 to 5 the Musical, Chicago, & Juliet, MJ the Musical and many more). These classes give dancers the opportunity to take part in IDTA Dance Awards.
